Requiem Black and Gold 5 piece Mass Set
Most
Catholic Rites have held the color black for Masses of the Dead and
some have
traditionally also worn black on Good Friday and Holy Saturday. This sober vestment set is
of that prescribed
liturgical color and bears the wide stripe of the Chasuble, and the
exterior of
the Burse, in an elegant gold and black taffeta whose floral pattern
reminds of
the Paradise where souls are prayed to dwell in the afterlife. The
crosses on
the Maniple and Stole are equally of a golden tone, applied and
embroidered to
the fabric, as reminders of the happy promise amidst the earthly
sorrows.
This
Low Mass Set consists of 1 Chasuble, 1 Maniple, 1 Stole, 1 Chalice Veil
and 1 Burse.
The
chasuble is mildly stiffened and lined in non-slippery black. Its
collar is
trimmed with discreet lace.
The inside of the Burse is of white linen, as prescribed.

Gold and Yellow 5 piece Mass Set
This set is of great versatility and beauty. The outside fabric has tonalities of pale gold, white and silver which shimmer in the light. Considered of liturgical gold-color, it can be used for any mass whenever black is not prescribed. The white satin of appliquéd crosses and the wide stripe that runs down the front and back of the Chasuble makes it especially apt for Easter-tide, votive masses on the occasions of Baptism, Confirmation or Nuptials and of the Virgin and angels.
The yellow lining harmonizes with the exterior fabrics and is also the traditional color for non-martyred saints (Confessors) of certain Catholic Rites.

This
set is of liturgical violet. This color is worn in the seasons
of Advent and Lent, also for votive masses when God’s intercession is
sought.

by a brighter shade of non-slippery fabric used in the lining of all
the

appliqués of gold-tone satin, embroidered around with gold thread, as

the mass.
A beautifully traditional vestment set that any priest or bishop will get quite a bit of use year-round.

Moiré Rose 5 piece Mass Set
According
to the Roman Rite, to mitigate the severity of the days
of Lent and Advent, one Sunday of each, rose vestments substitute the
usual
violet or purple ones of the season.
This color, which is a lighter shade of purple (not pink,
which is a
lighter shade of red) is a tradition which Pope Benedict XVI has
brought back.
In accord with the symbolism, the crosses that adorn the maniple,
stole,
chalice veil and burse are of appliquéd white satin, with a gold
embroidered
border, to remind of the nativity or resurrection which awaits at the
end of
both preparatory seasons. The
lining is
of roman purple, as is the stripe that adorns the front and back of the
chasuble.
Gaudete and Laetere Sundays are the times to wear this moiré vestment of the liturgical color Rose.

Nove-Centesco Moiré Red 5 piece Mass Set
Red
is worn on the feasts and solemnities that celebrate a
martyr.
This
set, in moiré fabric, recalls the traditional dress of
Cardinals, whose exclusive prerogative it was to wear it outside of the
mass. It makes a
striking and memorable
presence when worn against the bright white of the alb and its satin
appliquéd
crosses, embroidered around the edge in gold-thread, serve as a
catechetic tool
for he who wears it – a good way
to
explain the symbolism of the color and the sacrifice some great men and
women
have made for the faith and church through the ages.
The chasuble is adorned with gold jacquard trim and is mildly stiffened. All pieces are lined in non-slippery scarlet.
